ARS Technical Sales Corp is an independent manufacturer’s representative specializing in high-speed data acquisition, signal generation, thermal imaging, and precision measurement instrumentation. We serve engineers and scientists encompassing applied R&D, aerospace & defense, industrial process control, and assist our OEM customers with customized product conceptualization, development and integration.
Our product lines address two of the most demanding categories in test and measurement:
If your application involves both, you’re already talking to the right person.
Steel, glass, automotive, industrial heating
You need non-contact temperature measurement in a harsh environment where conventional sensors fail or aren’t possible. Emissivity, spectral range, and installation geometry matter as much as the camera spec. Primary product line: DIAS Infrared cameras, pyrometers, line scanners, and system solutions.
DIAS Infrared →Radar, lidar, EO/IR, signal characterization
You’re building or specifying a test system that requires more than a bench scope can deliver. GHz sampling rates, 14 or 16-bit resolution, deep onboard memory, or streaming throughput that standard DAQ cards can’t sustain. Primary product line: Spectrum Instrumentation PCIe, PXIe, and LXI digitizers and AWGs.
Spectrum Instrumentation →Physics, spectroscopy, quantum science, EE
You need acquisition hardware that fits a specific experimental requirement (the right trigger mode, resolution, or bandwidth) and software support for Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW. Budget is real. So is your timeline. Primary product lines: Spectrum Instrumentation and DIAS Infrared, depending on your measurement domain.

Rugged Embedded Computing
GPU-accelerated embedded PC systems for real-time image processing, capture, and DVR. Built for demanding defense and industrial environments where COTS computing isn’t enough.

Ultra-Precision Motion Products
Rotary and linear precision motion systems using friction-free air bearing technology. Sub-micron positional accuracy for aerospace, optical, semiconductor, and metrology applications where mechanical bearings can’t get you there.
Phil Gregor holds a BS in Physics and spent the early part of his career as a research scientist — the same environment many of his customers work in today. He has coordinated North American industrial infrared applications with engineering teams in Sweden, built OEM accounts in radar, lidar, mass spectrometry, and medical imaging, and trained manufacturer’s field engineers on high-speed digitizer technology across aerospace and defense. He holds five U.S. patents. He founded ARS Technical Sales in 2009.
If a less expensive option solves your problem, you’ll hear that. If none of Phil’s lines are the right fit, he’ll say that too, and point you toward where the answer is. There’s no quota to meet.
Spectrum’s support comes directly from the engineers who designed the product. That’s a company policy, not a promise. When a question requires it, Phil connects you directly. No ticket system.
A steel mill pyrometer installation has different requirements than an R&D thermal characterization setup, even if the temperature range looks the same on paper. Phil has worked in both contexts.
Many system-level measurement challenges involve both signal acquisition and thermal monitoring. Having a single knowledgeable rep across both disciplines saves time and reduces the gap between what you need and what you end up with.
Most conversations start with the application, not the product — and that’s the right place to start. Whether you’re in early system design, evaluating options, or have a technical question your current supplier can’t answer, Phil will give you a straight answer. No pitch. No pressure.
