ABTech
Representative – Precision Motion & Metrology
Overview
ABTech Inc. is a US manufacturer of ultra-precision engineering products serving aerospace, optics, semiconductor, and metrology applications where standard commercial equipment cannot meet the required specifications. Based in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire, ABTech designs and manufactures every product to customer-specific requirements — the company’s engineering model is built around solving precision problems that others decline to take on.
The ABTech product line spans three categories: precision air bearing motion components (rotary tables, spindles, and linear stages), precision measurement instruments for dimensional and form inspection, and turbine engine assembly systems for aerospace production. Air bearing technology — eliminating the contact friction, wear, and thermal effects of mechanical bearings — is the common thread across all three, whether the application requires nanometer-level spindle runout, accurate roundness measurement of a large industrial component, or precise stack alignment in a GE Aerospace turbine build.

Why ABTech
Engineered to your specification
ABTech does not sell catalog items into demanding applications and hope they fit. Every product — from a rotary air bearing spindle to a turbine engine assembly system for GE Aerospace — is engineered to the specific requirements of the application. That approach is reflected in a customer satisfaction rate above 98% and a track record of solving problems that other manufacturers have declined to take on.
Made in the USA
Every ABTech product is designed, manufactured, and tested at their facility in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire. No offshore manufacturing, no distributed supply chain. For programs with domestic content requirements, or where traceability and accountability matter, US manufacturing is a procurement requirement, not a marketing point.
Proven in demanding programs
ABTech products have been specified into programs where failure is not an option — including precision motion systems for NASA’s NuSTAR space telescope and engine assembly systems for GE Aerospace HPCR and HPTR turbine builds. That program history is a verifiable record of performance under real engineering constraints.
One source across motion, metrology, and aerospace assembly
Precision air bearing motion components, dimensional measurement instruments, and turbine engine assembly systems — all from one engineering organization with the same calibration infrastructure, the same support relationships, and the same design philosophy. For system-level applications where motion and measurement interact, that matters.
